Christmas is coming and once again Norwich will be illuminated with a spectacular awe-inspiring city light theme
Following the hugely successful 2016 City of Stories Christmas spectacular, Norwich BID has once again invested in Christmas themed lights throughout the city centre. Christmas 2017 in Norwich burst into life on Thursday 16 November with the annual Christmas Light Switch On event. Download the Christmas Lights map and information flyer and head into the city to see a dazzling showcase of creativity bursting with imagination.
Tunnel of Light
The Tunnel of Light returns to Norwich to take centre stage in the Christmas festivities this year with animated sequences and a glittering tiara.
With 50,000 sequenced lights that reflect the patterns and colours of the Northern Lights, the 45-metre-long tunnel, situated on Hay Hill opposite The Forum will be the perfect back drop for a seasonal selfie #MyTunnelofLight.
Free to visit, this stunning attraction is open daily from 16 November – 5 January. 8am – Midnight.
Norwich's iconic Castle will be transformed by awe-inspiring 70ft projections, adding to the Christmas magic that will be sprinkled throughout the city in November and December. There will be three different 10 minute shows.
Shows start every hour on the hour, 17:00 - 23:00
Norwich's Christmas Lights are bigger and better than ever before and come together across the city centre, into The Norwich Lanes, and a new for this year into Norwich Cathedral Quarter to create a sparkling wonderland
