Easter Egg Hunt

In 2015 and 2016 we created a trail of Easter eggs hidden in locations around Norwich city centre, displayed on posters, inside businesses and in windows.

Participants were encouraged to find 10 eggs or more hidden on posters within various BID businesses - using a downloadable map or the VisitNorwich app - they were rewarded with a free chocolate Easter egg once completing the trail.

Egg locations included:

  • Jarrolds
  • John Lewis
  • The TV & Movie Store
  • Logan's
  • The Garage
  • Norwich Castle
  • Museum of Norwich at the Bridewell
  • The Tannery
  • Wilko's
  • The Book Hive
  • Nova Silver
  • London Camera Exchange
  • Norfolk & Norwich Millennium Library
  • Langley's
  • JoJo Maman Bebe
  • Intu Chapelfield
  • Cath Kidston
  • Franks Bar
  • Castle Mall
  • OPEN

Encouraging visitors and locals to head into the city centre during the Easter holidays and to make use of the businesses in the area, the marketing campaign reached over 700,000 people resulting in over 1,500 trail participants.

We also received positive feedback from participating businesses reporting the trail helped raise awareness and footfall during this period.
