Norwich BID Covid-19 Update: May

Norwich BID's Recovery Framework for the city centre and its businesses

Over the last couple of weeks, the BID team have been working on the way ahead for Norwich City Centre. Working with input from local businesses as well as partners in town centre management from across the UK, the BID has created a draft framework for how Norwich can open again - with safety and effectiveness as key principles.

Please take a few minutes to read the framework, and do let us know if you have any questions or feedback. The plan includes:

  • A move through 4 phases: Crisis, Pre-Recovery, Recovery and Transformation

  • The implementation of Planning Ahead Teams, to collaborate on how the city will re-open

  • Goals for a longer-term, successful transformation of the city
