Christmas in Norwich: Traditionally Different
VisitNorwich launched its festive campaign on the 16th of November and ran through to Christmas.
The campaign was built to bringing shoppers, diners and festive experience seekers into the City of Stories. The theme – Christmas in Norwich: Traditionally Different, “It’s the festive season, but a little unexpected. The experience you know – jingle bells and brass bands – with a battered sausage with cranberry sauce thrown in. Glühwein and empanadas, al-fresco in your secret-santa hat. Santa’s Grotto, but dogs. Candy-cane nails and winter cocktails. Fondue, in an igloo, with a Georgian ballroom for a view.”
The campaign has been a huge success and seen fantastic results including:
- Overall the campaign has received over 2 million impressions and over 46k clicks
- 15 Positive pieces of PR for Norwich, and VisitNorwich Investment Partners
- Highest ever number of monthly users on the VisitNorwich site
- The campaign video has been viewed over 70k times on TikTok
- An overall uplift in organic search activity
This campaign is just one example of the work done by VisitNorwich to bring footfall into the city, but work is constantly ongoing to promote Norwich on a regional, national and international stage.
