City Conversations Conference 2026 | Shaping a Better Norwich, Together
Join us for a morning of networking, dialogue, and complimentary breakfast.
Connect with business leaders, and share your views on the ambitions, priorities and investments that will guide Norwich’s development in the years ahead.
Norwich is at its strongest when businesses, organisations, institutions and communities come together around a shared vision for the city. Since the start of the current BID term in 2022, we have worked to deliver a wide range of projects designed to support businesses, attract visitors, enhance experiences, and strengthen confidence in Norwich as a place to live, work, study and invest.
This year’s conference will bring together businesses and stakeholders to reflect on the progress made so far, explore the impact of projects delivered across the city, and discuss the opportunities, ambitions and priorities that lie ahead for Norwich.
Through networking, discussion and engagement, you’ll have the opportunity to share your views, contribute ideas and help inform the priorities, projects and investments that will guide Norwich’s development in the years ahead.
Please join us for a morning of insight, discussion and collaboration as we explore how we can continue shaping a better Norwich, together.
Ben Aitken in Conversation with Nina Nannar
What makes a city truly great to live in?
As part of the conference, join witty and acclaimed travel writer and author Ben Aitken in conversation with ITN journalist Nina Nannar as they explore the character, quirks and hidden strengths of the UK’s most liveable places, including Norwich, recently named The Sunday Times Best Place to Live 2026.
Drawing on his travels, observations and writing, Ben will reflect on why some cities seem to quietly have things figured out, from quality of life and culture to community, identity and a sense of belonging. Expect humour, insight, and a fresh perspective on what makes a place not just successful, but genuinely enjoyable to call home.
