Festive Love Letters Trail

Are you ready to spread some love this Christmas time?

We’re on the hunt for Norwich city centre businesses to help us sprinkle a little festive magic and spread some love this Christmas by joining our Festive Love Letters Trail.

Following our much-loved Crown Trail in 2025 and Story Book Trail this summer, the Festive Love Letters Trail will invite visitors to wander through hidden nooks and cobbled corners, following clues tucked into enchanting festive shopfront displays.

The trail is sponsored by the Sainsbury Centre’s Autumn 2026 season, ‘How Do We Find Love?’ (opening 13 November). Multiple exhibitions will explore the profound complexities of human relationships, desire, and intimacy.

Spaces are limited, so complete the form by 9 October to register your interest in being part of the trail.

Auguste Rodin, The Kiss,

The Sainsbury Centre’s upcoming season of exhibitions will ask How Do We Find Love?, exploring the profound complexities of human relationships, desire, and intimacy.

Spanning painting, sculpture, photography and film, The Last Human Kiss (13 November 2026 – 11 April 2027) explores how the kiss has shaped human ideas of love, intimacy, devotion, betrayal and belonging.

Reflecting on how deep connections are formed, broken, remembered and mourned, Ecstasy and the Aftermath (13 November 2026 – 11 April 2027) asks whether love ever truly ends.

Bringing together the work of ten internationally acclaimed photographers, Love Stories (18 December 2026 – 30 May 2027) explores love as it shapes our everyday lives. Playful, honest, poetic or sardonic, photographic works capture the raw reality of everyday intimacy.

As the Sainsbury Centre investigates one of life’s biggest questions, the museum is excited to see how this exploration of love disperses throughout our city of stories.
