Rio Carbon Reporting
Rio is an intelligent sustainability management system. This platform helps businesses, public sector organisations, and SME’s track their sustainability data, report on their progress, and learn to become more sustainable.
Rio can not only help businesses track their sustainability journey, but the platform also analyses your data and provides actionable ways to improve your sustainability and save you money!
Rio can help with:
- Target-setting establish your organisation’s targets and monitor progress
- Reporting provide information to key stakeholders
- Legislation access a legal library of environmental legislation (with synopses!)
- Identify opportunities to reduce your carbon footprint
- Training Rio Learn provides training resources on a range of topics to increase sustainability knowledge.
What are the benefits?
Carbon impact is not only useful to track as a cost-saving exercise, it is also information which is increasingly being demanded by company stakeholders and by the end-customer. A recent study showed that 40% of consumers are more likely to choose brands that have environmentally sustainable practices/ values.
Rio makes carbon tracking data available to all, not just those with an Environmental Officer. Rio’s mission is ‘to make sustainability available to all’
- Identify cost savings
- Provide key information to stakeholders and customers
- Work to make your organisation more eco-friendly
What will it cost me?
For the past year, several SME’s have been enjoying the benefits that the Rio platform brings. This has been provided by Norwich BID through funding which comes to an end on 31 March 2024. The Rio platform provides SME’s with sustainability related learning content and the ability to manage and report on a wide variety of data and associated carbon emissions.
For those SME’s who wish to retain the Rio platform from 1 April, you will now need to have a subscription directly with Rio. Subscriptions start from just £500 a month for access to the Engage learning library only, and the annual enterprise license for sustainability data management is £35,000 per annum with an optional additional £20,000 per annum to access consultant services support. All businesses using the platform today will be entitled to a 30% discount in their first year should they agree a contract with Rio by the 31st of March.
Please contact Seb at Rio (email@example.com) should you wish to discuss this further. New SME’s interested in taking out a subscription are encouraged to email Rio to find out more about prices relevant to SMEs with less than 5 million revenue.
